Fiodh Alúine

Allenwood derives from the Irish Fiodh Alúine, combining 'fiodh' (wood) with 'Alúine', referring to the Hill of Allen (Cnoc Alúine), a prominent volcanic hill in west Kildare with deep mythological roots.
