Coillte Mach

Kiltamagh's name derives from ancient Irish woodland, with legendary origins tracing to Maghach, a chieftain of the Fir Bolg who, according to local tradition, sought refuge on wooded Sliabh Cairn after defeat at the Battle of Moytura circa 1000 BC.
