Gabhla

Gabhla (Gola Island) lies off the coast of Gweedore in County Donegal and has been inhabited since at least the 17th or 18th century, when families including McGees, McGinleys, Duggans, Divers, Gallaghers, Peoples, McBrides, Roartys, and Sweeneys established settlements sustained by fishing and small-scale farming.
