Drumcliffe High Crosses

St Colmcille founded a monastery here in the 6th century; three high crosses and the stump of a round tower survive. The best-preserved cross is a sandstone shaft standing 3.83m tall, possibly dating from the 11th century, with carved relief on multiple faces.
