Sandstone cross standing 4.8m at a road junction in Donaghmore village, on the site of a monastery said to have been founded by St Patrick for St Columb in the 6th century. Carved with biblical scenes on both faces, including a Crucifixion on the head and scenes from the Annunciation to the Arrest of Christ. Distinct from the Donaghmore High Cross in Co. Down.
