Schull Workhouse

Schull Workhouse was established in 1849 as part of the Poor Law Union system created in the aftermath of the Great Famine. The facility, designed by Poor Law Commissioners' architect George Wilkinson, was constructed between 1850 and 1851 on an eleven-acre site northeast of Schull village.
