Drumcliff Monastery

Drumcliff Monastery was founded in 574 AD by Saint Colmcille (St. Columba) at the base of Benbulben in County Sligo, with land donated by Áed Ainmire, a High King of the northern Uí Néill and relative of Columba himself.
