Buncrana Castle

Buncrana Castle was constructed between 1715 and 1720, with an inscribed doorcase dated 1718. The manor house was built by George Vaughan, who may have initially inherited an earlier structure on the site dating to the early seventeenth century built by Henry Vaughan.
