Red Abbey Tower

The Red Abbey was an Augustinian priory founded in the late 13th or early 14th century, taking its name from the distinctive reddish sandstone used in its construction. The monastery was dedicated to the Most Holy Trinity and was established by a member of the De Courcey family.
