Dún Eoghanachta (The Fort of Eoghanacht)

Dún Eoghanachta (‘the fort of Eoghanacht’), an early medieval stone fort, is located in the townland of Eoghanacht, named after the powerful Munster dynasty that controlled the island and much of Munster from their capital in Cashel, Co.
